QUINCY, MASS. (WHDH) - The suspect accused of hitting and killing a woman in Braintree on Thursday will face a judge in Quincy on Monday.

Ryan Brady, 34, will be arraigned at the Quincy District Court on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident causing death.

Police said the woman was hit Thursday afternoon at around 5 p.m. near the intersection of Shaw and Commercial streets. A front grill to a 2000-2002 Mazda 626 sedan was left at the scene.

Irina Hyde, 62, was rushed to South Shore Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

“She was just on her way to get her citizenship,” said Hyde’s husband, Tony Hyde. The couple had been married for five years. “She was the kindest, most beautiful woman I ever met. It was a pleasure being her husband, everyone loved her.”
