BRIDGEWATER, MASS. (WHDH) - Bridgewater police are searching for a man who allegedly attempted to abduct three girls.
According to police, officers responded to the area of Lady Slipper Road around 6:30 p.m. after receiving a call that a man in a black minivan asked three young girls to get inside his van.
The victims are 11-years-old. They told police they were walking down the street when the minivan approached them.
According to the girls, the man asked them to get into the van to play Pokemon Go.
The girls then refused, and ran off.
The suspect was described as being a well-built, slim, dark-skinned man in his twenties. He was not wearing a shirt at the time, and he has tattoos on both of his arms and his chest.
Bridgewater police have been going door to door in an attempt to find additional witnesses.
The incident remains under investigation.
