Brockton boy accused of pointing airsoft gun at another boy at school

BROCKTON, MASS. (WHDH) - A 10-year-old boy is facing charges after police said he brought an airsoft gun to school and pointed it at a classmate.

Police said the boy brought the gun to Davis Elementary School on May 4.

The student apparently just wanted to show off to friends. He allegedly got into an argument with another child, which is when police said he pointed the gun at his classmate.

The school’s principal was notified about the incident and the police got involved.

The student has now been charged with carrying a dangerous weapon on school grounds and assault with a dangerous weapon.
