BROCKTON, MASS. (WHDH) - Family and friends gathered for an annual vigil in Brockton to honor a teen who disappeared nearly 27 ago Monday night.
Police say 16-year-old Jennifer Lynn Fay was walking to meet with some friends back in 1989 when she disappeared.
People at the vigil retraced what is believed to have been Fay’s last known steps.
Dottie MacLean, Fay’s mother, said she was thankful for those who attended and cannot give up faith that her daughter may return some day.
