BROOKLINE, MASS. (WHDH) - Police in Brookline say they are “actively investigating” a report of a man flashing three girls near a park in Brookline Village.

According to the police, a man in his mid-to-late 20s, who may have been Hispanic, exposed himself to three elementary-aged girls near Ward Park in Brookline Village. Police said he was in a silver or gray sedan with the passenger side doors open. Officers are currently interviewing witnesses and searching for video footage that may assist in the investigation.

Police said a similar incident happened last month on Greenough Street, near Brookline High School. In that incident, police said a man exposed himself to three middle school-aged children. The suspect was described as a man in his 20s in a silver or gray four-door car.

Despite the similar descriptions of the suspect and his car, police are not sure if the two incidents are related.

Police are asking the public to be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity to police. Officials also said that extra patrols have been added on Halloween and associated weekend celebrations in light of the recent incidents.
