Police in Brookline are warning people to be on alert after several recent burglaries.
They say six homes have been burglarized in the past week.
Investigators say the thieves are breaking in through back doors and windows, usually during evening hours.
They’re taking jewelry and electronics.
Police suggest putting outside lighting on in the evening.
