A Boston University music professor has been uninvited to play with an orchestra due to sexual harassment allegations.

The Wyoming Symphony Orchestra invited Eric Ruske to play as a guest this upcoming weekend, but took back the invitation after learning about a sexual harassment lawsuit filed by two former students.

Erin Shyr and Maria Currie alleged that their former professor repeatedly harassed them in emails and texts.

They said Ruske asked for pictures of the women, and compared their instrument playing to having sex with him.

They also said the university didn’t do enough to fix the situation.

Boston University and Ruske didn’t immediately comment.
