An enormous litter is the talk of the town in California.
A sheepdog gave birth to 17 puppies.
According to veterinarians in California, that’s a new record.
There are 11 boys and six girls and all of them are adorable.
The owners said they were a bit overwhelmed but have been getting help from their friends.
When the puppies were born the family quickly realized that mom could not take care of that many babies at once.
All of the puppies will be following in their parents’ footsteps and will be working in the fields.
