QUINCY, MASS. (WHDH) - A car rolled out of a driveway, over a sea wall and into the water in Quincy on Thursday.
A woman pulled into a driveway, was unfamiliar with the incline of the driveway, and the car rolled out of the driveway and into the water.
The 2013 Acura was submerged in Quincy Bay.
Divers came to the scene to go under the water and hook up the car so it could be towed of the bay.
The car’s owner said she went to the house to pick up a friend and left the car in neutral instead of park, and did not set the parking brake.
“She was very upset, she was chasing the car and she tried to jump in it, and scratched her knees, she is going to be okay, she is very much shaken up,” the homeowner said.
