Police are searching for a BMW they said was involved in a drag race Saturday night in the Back Bay that left a pedestrian injured.
Police said the BMW and a Bentley were speeding down Beacon Street when the Bentley jumped a curb and hit a 28-year-old man. The Bentley than hit an iron fence before crashing into a tree. Witnesses said two people in the Bentley got out and got into the BMW, which then took off towards Storrow Drive.
The Bentley had dealer license plates. Police are asking people to be on the lookout for a white convertible BMW with a Massachusetts license plate of 7DY B90.
The pedestrian was taken to Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
