BOSTON (WHDH) - A cat rescued from the Callahan Tunnel by a state trooper is expected to make a full recovery.

The cat, who was named Callahan, was hit by a car in the tunnel last week. A state trooper then brought him to the MSPCA.

Callahan is now resting in the MSPCA’s care and getting ready to be adopted.
