Chicopee Police are alerting the public to possible danger after a cup full of heroin bundles was found by a resident.
According to a post on the police department’s Facebook page, a passerby called to report seeing something "that did not appear to be normal" on the sidewalk.
Detectives responded and discovered a beverage cup fill with packets of heroin.
"Thankfully this did not fall into the hands of some innocent kids happening upon it," the post said. "This is why we always encourage you to report things you see so it can be checked on."
