Police in Chelmsford said a young boy was pulled from a pool Thursday afternoon.
The incident happened just after 2:30 p.m. on Gorham Road. Police and fire crews responded to the home after adults on the scene noticed the 4-year-old boy had drifted under the water. Adults were on the scene, including at least one parent of the boy.
Rescuers said the boy was in a semi-conscious state and was breathing on his own. The boy was airlifted to Boston Children’s Hospital.
