Sick of turkey & stuffing yet? Hope the holiday weekend was kind to you, the weather was nice (sans the Saturday rain) for outdoor activities as well as travel plans but now it’s back to the grind. Thankfully, as we part ways with November and say hello to December a pattern change is not in the cards. The pattern we saw for much of November is one capable of mild air and that looks to be the trend for the first week of December (perhaps we can push it to two weeks). This mild air is typical for an El Nino winter–which is what we have on the menu this winter–especially at the front end of winter where December is usually the warmest of the 3 winter months.

Even within a mild pattern you can still run into a cold day here & there and that’s what today is….cold. Adding insult to injury will be limited sunshine with clouds dominating and even a few snow flurries this morning! Due to the clouds, plan on temps spending much of the afternoon crawling through the 30s but at least wind will be light–that’s huge this time of year.

More clouds for tomorrow and Wednesday but those clouds are tied to a storm that will deliver warm air back to New England. Tomorrow is moving day which means some leftover chilly, raw air with a few afternoon showers but by Wednesday those temps reach the low 50s! Despite the mild air, sun is still nowhere to be found with clouds and a continuation of scattered showers.

Sunshine makes a return for the end of the week. The cold will not.

Happy cyber shopping!
