Class Act:

Tracey Michael

Nominated by:

Michele Connor

Nomination Story:

Tracey Michael is a young woman with Cerebral Palsy who has shown incredible strength and resilience through many of life’s challenges. Tracey is in her freshman year of high school and has recently run for and was elected as the vice president of her freshman class. As a school based Occupational Therapist, I have worked with Tracey since she was 3 years old. At that time, it was doubtful that she would ever be able to walk independently, but she has worked so very hard to accomplish that among many other things.

This past March, during Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month, Tracey prepared and presented a power point presentation about her life with CP to the entire 8th grade student body and faculty. The feedback she received was overwhelming!
