A Clinton man has been indicted in connection with disseminating and exchanging child pornography with juveniles.

Nicholas Azud, 21, was indicted in connection with using social media to pose as a teenage girl and requesting and exchanging pornographic images with at least three juvenile boys.

Azud was charged with one count of possession of child pornography, three counts of disseminating matter harmful to a minor and three counts of trafficking of person under 18 for sexual servitude.

He will be arraigned in Worcester Superior Court at a later date.

Azud was arrested on Oct. 15, 2015 and has been held on $100,000 cash bail.

An investigation began in May 2015 after State Police received information about pornographic images of children that were uploaded to an online storage system.

The images were traced to Azud and an investigation showed Azud allegedly contacted children under 18 using false social media profiles.
