BOSTON (AP) — Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton has raised more than $7.3 million from Massachusetts supporters through the end of May compared to the $105,000 raised for presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.
Clinton still trailed fellow Democrat Bernie Sanders, who raked in more than $7.5 million in the Bay State.
The former secretary of state is narrowing in on Sanders after rounding up enough delegates to claim her party’s nomination.
A month ago, the Vermont senator had collected $500,000 more than Clinton in Massachusetts.
An Associated Press review of campaign finance records filed with the Federal Election Commission shows the margin has dropped to $200,000.
Trump is expected to add to his total on Wednesday when the New York businessman swings through Boston for a fundraising stop.
