TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (WHDH) – The co-pilot of a private plane headed to Bedford was arrested Thursday for allegedly being drunk.
Police in Traverse City, Michigan said the pilot tipped them off about his co-pilot. Police said the co-pilot’s blood alcohol level was more than four times the legal limit to drive a car.
Police who responded to the scene said the co-pilot had bloodshot eyes and smelled of alcohol.
The company that owns the plane commended the pilot for preventing his co-pilot from flying. The co-pilot was immediately fired.
