MARTHA’S VINEYARD (WHDH) — The Coast Guard helped make a save off the coast of Martha’s Vineyard after a fishing boat called for help.
Officials said they received a mayday call after the boat’s mast broke 30 miles south of Martha’s Vineyard.
A helicopter was sent out to find the boat. It remained there until a ship arrived to help repair the boat’s mast.
