The United States Coast Guard seized six tons of cocaine in a semi-submerged ship off the coast of Panama last month.

The bust happened on March 3 after a Customs and Border Protection airplane first spotted the semi-submersible.

The Customs and Border Protection airplane then alerted the crew of the Coast Guard cutter Bertholf from Alamada, California.

Four suspects were arrested in the bust.
