Commuter rail evacuated over ‘suspicious device’

WESTWOOD, MASS. (WHDH) - A Commuter Rail train was evacuated Friday afternoon in Westwood after police said a suspicious device was found on board.

Police said a bag was left on the train. Everyone was evacuated at the Route 128 station and service was stopped, causing delays.

Trains back up and running Friday evening after the all-clear was given but some were up to an hour behind schedule.
