BOSTON (WHDH) - Massachusetts voted ‘Yes’ on ballot question three, making it illegal to sell eggs, veal or pork from farm animals that are confined to living in areas where the animal cannot lie down, stand up, extend its limbs or turn around.

The measure won by a large margin, with 78 percent voting “yes” and 22 percent voting “no.”
