Congressman Stephen Lynch will hold a summit to talk about ways to enhance and expand the security of the regional rail system.
Governor Charlie Baker and Boston Mayor Marty Walsh are expected to attend.
Lynch is on the National Security subcommittee.
He has previously raised concerns about the decline in federal funding for rail security.
