BOSTON (WHDH) - The MBTA will open two new stops that have been consolidated from four stations on the Green Line on Monday.
The stations at Babcock Street and Amory Street on the B branch are now fully accessible and have better lighting, according to T officials.
Riders said they were pleased to see the stops open.
“It’s way better than the shuttle bus,” one rider said before boarding a trolley, adding that the consolidated stops will make getting to and from work an easier experience.
Officials say consolidating the stations will decrease travel time by one minute in each direction.
