A storm passing offshore will bring most of it's moisture offshore with it, however, we do feel some affect from it.  Eastern Mass will tend to have more clouds around this morning, and enough low level moisture gets thrown back in place to throw some sprinkles/brief light showers across far Southeast Mass and the Cape/Islands.  The breeze is also active along the coast and Cape with winds steady around 20mph for the Cape.  All this combined with temps in the upper 60s to near 70, it'll be a cool beach day for sure.  Inland, intervals of clouds and sun prevail with highs in the mid to upper 70s.

While we get a few sprinkles today, it's by no means a beneficial rain for the gardens and if your lawn looks like mine, it desperately needs a good soaking. The next best chance for widespread showers and storms and that good soaking moves in Tuesday.

Overall, next week looks fairly seasonable (temps close to 80), as I don't see any high heat (90+) returning over the next 7 days.  Although, we may take a run into the mid to upper 80s by next weekend.

Enjoy the rest of this weekend!
