While the first week of November spoiled us with September like temps, the second week wasn’t too shabby either.  Sure, we had a couple rainy days, but overall, temps still ran a bit above the average.  Today, we’ll bring back in November temperatures and have dry weather prevail.

While I don’t expect many issues weather-wise over the weekend, if you do have outdoor activities planed, there are a couple things to keep in mind.  First off, temps today hold in the mid to upper 40s from mid morning, through mid afternoon, allowing for jacket weather to prevail.  In addition, the wind is very active from the west to northwest, gusting 25-35mph at times.  While it’s that time of year to rake up the leaves, today may be one of those days where keeping those leaf piles under control could prove challenging thanks to that breeze.  Not raking leaves, last tee time of the season?… Hopefully the winds at your back on the par 5s.

Sunday’s weather is a bit better.  Somewhat breezy, but the wind is not as strong and highs reach the low to mid 50s with partly sunny skies.

I don’t see much rain in the forecast over the next several days as near seasonal temps run through mid-week.  Monday will be a bit above average while Tuesday and Wednesday turn a bit cooler than average.  With winds turning south on Thursday as milder air works back in, however, a slow moving cold front will also be approaching New England.  Showers are possible by late Thursday, and more likely by Thursday night and Friday.

Have a good weekend.
