CHARLTON, MASS. (WHDH) - Charlton firefighters spent Wednesday afternoon fighting the flames at a junkyard.

Fire officials said 12 vehicles caught on fire due to extra gasoline left inside a scrapped car.

The fire started just after 11:00 a.m. at Excel Recycling.

It took an hour to put the fire out.

Crews used a crane to hose off each car and prevent any rekindling of those flames.
