LYNN, MASS. (WHDH) - Crews battled a large fire in Lynn Tuesday morning, where a neighbor took action to make sure everyone evacuated.
The fire started at a three-story multi-family home on Lowell Street. Residents said a neighbor raced through the building as the fire spread, making sure everyone got out safely.
“I woke up everyone in the whole building and then I called 911 right away,” said Renso Medin. Families who lived in the building said they were grateful for his help because everyone made it out safe.
Firefighters said putting out the fire was difficult because the fire happened on a busy street with a lot of congestion from parked cars.
