A three-alarm fire in Revere sent a home up in flames Friday.
Fire crews responded quickly to Reservoir Avenue, thanks in part to the Revere fire captain living nearby and smelling the smoke before anyone else.
"it’s funny because there’s different kinds of smoke, and there could be food on the stove and that sort of thing, and you get attuned to that sort of thing, and you make your best judgment," Captain Robert Fortuna of the Revere Fire Department said.
Fire crews said nobody is hurt, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
