METHUEN, MASS. (WHDH) - Crews continued to battle a large fire at a three story brick apartment building in Methuen.
The fire broke out on Thursday night.
Officials say a firefighter fell through the third floor while he was inside the building. He is expected to be OK.
A man who lives at the apartment complex told 7News he thinks everyone made it out safely.
The fire chief says another firefighter was injured after slipping on ice at the scene. He is also expected to be OK.
It’s unclear how the fire started.
Officials say they think the building is a complete loss.
An emergency shelter has been set up for anyone displaced by the fire at the Timothy School.
