Crews worked to repair a water main break on McAllee Avenue in Framingham Friday.
The water main break happened around 2:00 p.m.
300 homes lost water.
The Department of Public Works restored water to some homes overnight, but many still do not have water.
Crews said pipes in this area are old, and water main breaks are not uncommon.
