CHATHAM, MASS. (WHDH) - Emergency crews helped rescue a whale in Chatham after it got tangled up.
They removed five loops of heavy rope that was wrapped around the whale’s tail.
The weight was cutting off circulation to the animal’s fins, making it difficult to swim.
The young whale is doing well, according to crews.
