Customers who boycotted Market Basket alongside workers returned to the supermarkets to shop Thursday.

“I basically came back to welcome everyone back. I know these people,” said customer Robin Vesce.

As employees restocked shelves, the company posted signs thanking people for their support and their loyalty.

“Everyone seems to be in a better smile, you know, happy. They already have more stuff. I appreciate it,” said customer BrunoDefeog.

Defeo stocked up on the goods he couldn’t get during the family feud.

“Honey ham, good stuff!” he said.

Customers said the resolution was not just a win for Artie T., whose picture is still up in the stores, but also a win for the paying customers.

“This is the best supermarket in the world. It really is,” said one customer.

While some stores lost up to 90 percent of their business they are hoping to be back up to speed by Sept. 1.
