CAMBRIDGE, MASS. (WHDH) - A bicycle ride took a terrifying turn in Cambridge, after a woman was hit and killed by a landscaping truck Thursday.
The victim, 27-year-old Amanda Phillips of Cambridge, was struck by a landscaping truck around 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of Hampshire and Cambridge Street in Cambridge.
She was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
The incident remains under investigation.
