A cause of death for 2-year-old Avalena M. Conway-Coxon cannot be determined, according to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office.
The DA’s office said a medical examiner could not determine the girl’s manner of death.
The little girl was found unresponsive in a foster home in Auburn on Aug. 15, 2015. She was taken to a hospital and was pronounced dead.
Another girl, 22-months old, was also found unresponsive in the home. She was taken to a hospital and is now in the custody of the Department of Children and Families, according to the DA’s office.
Authorities are continuing their investigation.
