ATTLEBORO, MASS. (WHDH) - A suspect is facing murder and arson charges in the case of an elderly woman found dead after a house fire.

The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office announced that Adam Rollins, 42, is facing new charges a week after he was arraigned on Jan. 3, following his arrest in connection with the death of 80-year-old Judith Henriques.

Henriques’s body was found on Nov. 18, 2022, after crews put out an overnight house fire on Division Street in Attleboro. Following an investigation, officials were able to determine Henriques had been the victim of an assault and burglary, which Rollins was later charged for.

He was initially arraigned after police tracked him down in Weymouth on Sunday, Jan. 1, 2023, and took him into custody where he has remained since the start of the year.

According to the DA’s latest update, Rollins will be arraigned on the new murder and arson charges in Attleboro District Court on Tuesday.
