A Georgia father and his girlfriend are facing charges after police said he left his young son alone in the car while he was on a date.
Police said the father and his girlfriend intentionally left the 6-year-old boy inside their car while they went to a restaurant. Surveillance video shows the father's girlfriend walking the boy to the car and then returning without him.
The boy allegedly called his mother from inside the car to tell her had been left alone. She then called police.
"The 6-year-old boy was able to give us succinct details about the street name and basically where he is located," said one police officer.
The father and his girlfriend were charged with reckless conduct.
