Danielle Gersh is the Traffic Reporter for 7News Today in New England and forecasts the weather on 7News at Noon. She joined 7News in October 2015.
Before arriving in Boston, Danielle worked at KESQ and CBS Local 2 in Palm Springs as a weekend weathercaster and reporter. While in the desert, her coverage of a 700-year storm earned her an Emmy nomination.
Danielle grew up in Los Angeles. She attended Southern Methodist University on an equestrian scholarship where she studied Journalism. Danielle is currently working toward her degree in Meteorology from Mississippi State University.
When she’s not telling you about the traffic or weather, Danielle enjoys cooking, working out and exploring Boston. She also loves being a horse mom to her horse Pikxie and dog mom to her Cavalier King Charles Sebastian.
