DARTMOUTH, MASS. (WHDH) - A man was arrested Saturday after he allegedly attacked two police officers in Dartmouth.

Police say they stopped a car on Cross Road early Saturday morning driven by Daniel Gill, 62 of Dartmouth.

According to police, Gill “became argumentative and aggressive” toward the officers.

The officers attempted to take Gill into custody, but he resisted and physically assaulted the officers.

He was eventually restrained and charged with assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and threats.

The officers were reportedly not injured.
