Seattle called… it wants its March weather back.
While we’d love to ship this weather out of here overnight, this set-up is more on the 4-5 day shipping/handling process. Ugh… about all that we can handle for May doom and gloom.
Let’s look on the "bright side"… the pollen counts get knocked down, and the lawns and flower beds get watered and there are no frost or freeze issues this week, so if you take advantage of the dry hours and start some planting, you should be ok on that end. In addition, despite the unsettled pattern, we’re not talking coastal flooding/flooding rains. In fact, the rain is more beneficial than anything else.
The down side of this pattern… dry ball fields for softball and baseball practices and games are hard to come by and temps don’t much up all that much. The highest chances for rain are this morning, tomorrow afternoon and again Friday afternoon/night. Isolated showers are possible Thursday and Saturday and a few showers are still possible early Sunday morning. By the weekend, the temps climb back into the mid 60s with some breaks of sun!
Next week does look better, much better with 60s and 70s more often.
Stay dry and have a good day!
