Join the Bills Backers for their 2015 Charity Day to benefit Make-A-Wish® Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Watch the Buffalo Bills take on the Houston Texans (1:00 p.m. game time). There will be door prizes, contests and games, and "beef on weck" sandwiches. This is the third charity day hosted by the Bills Backers of Boston to benefit Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Through this annual event, over $6,600 has been raised to-date to support wishes.
Make-A-Wish® Massachusetts and Rhode Island grants wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. According to information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, approximately 500 children in Massachusetts and Rhode Island are newly diagnosed with life-threatening medical conditions each year. Make-A-Wish® vision is to grant wishes for every medically eligible child annually.
Bills Backers International is an organization of Buffalo Bills fans, with more than 200 chapters and 10,000 members around the United States and the world. In Boston, the group has been gathering on game days since 1986, and have been affiliated with the international organization since 1991.
