Dennis Police have arrested two people on drug charges.
Jeffrey Britt, 25, of Dennisport, is charged with possession of a class C drug and conspiracy to violate the drug laws.
Kristen Asack, 25, of Dennisport, is charged with trafficking in heroin, distribution of a class C drug and conspiracy to violate the drug laws.
Police say they saw the pair conduct a drug transaction at around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday in a parking lot.
Police say they found Asack with 28 grams of heroin and several prescription drugs along with a large amount of cash.
Asack is being held without bail on an outstanding court issue and Britt was released on his own recognizance, according to police.
