BOSTON (WHDH) - Patriots’ player Devin McCourty visited Boston Children’s Hospital for a lip sync battle on Tuesday.

McCourty set out to raise money to help children with Sickle Cell Anemia.

He showed off some his skills off the field.

The cornerback and team captain was “Letting Go” with the patients at the hospital.

McCourty took part in the lip sync battle to drum up support for his mission to tackle Sickle Cell—a cause that’s personal for McCourty. His aunt has Sickle Cell Anemia and he said seeing her battle the disease inspired him to help others.

The patients who battled with him said the visit made their day.

McCourty said several of his teammates will join him for his third annual Casino Night Fundraiser at Royale later in October.

The lip sync star said he’s also the king of karaoke in the locker room—a winner with or without a live mic.
