Cincinnati Bengals’ defensive tackle Devon Still had great news to share Tuesday night about his daughter’s fight against cancer.
Still posted a picture on Instagram last night of him with his, Leah. He shared that Leah’s latest scans showed no trace of active cancer in her body. The 4-year-old was diagnosed with pediatric cancer last year.
While she is not officially cancer-free yet, Still said doctors are very optimistic about her condition. The family is waiting for more test results to see if the cancer is, in fact, gone.
A campaign was started last season to buy Still jerseys to raise money for cancer research. The campaign raised more than $1 million.
In sharing the good news, Still tweeted, “That moment you get the best news you’ve ever received and don’t know what to do so you just flex!!”
