Dog Days of Summer…we're in them and they are doing their thing. Sunshine, warmth, humidity and the risk of summer storms. This week is classic summer weather but perhaps not the most comfortable for outdoor activities unless those plans involve a lake, ocean, pool (or pond, a pond would be good for you #Caddyshack). A weak weather system is stuck in New England this morning and will remain stuck until it fades away tomorrow evening. Thankfully it's weak so no washouts but that weather system will work in tandem–much like peanut butter works well with jelly–to spark some scattered thunderstorms today. Outdoor plans get accomplished but a few interruptions are likely.
Tomorrow is a similar setup but our weak weather system is even weaker so instead of scattered storms, plan on a few isolated storms….*sidebar*….whats the diff between scattered/isolated?? Think of it like this…..you're at the backyard BBQ…..15 other peeps are there too…..a busy scene but not overcrowded–#Scattered…..then….near the end of the day…the head count drops down to 6 of you in the backyard…..suddenly, plenty of space….#Isolated. Make sense?
By midweek, the weather system is dead and it becomes about the heat & humidity in New England. I think most towns reach the low 90s on Wednesday–even coastal cities/towns. More heat & humidity expected for Thursday.
