An investigation is underway in Indiana to find out who left a dog in a dumpster to die.
After a neighbor heard barking and called police, officers found the dog lying in a pile of debris.
The dog, who has been named Ray, was scared but unharmed.
The Humane Society said it will hold Ray for a week to see if someone claims him.
If not, he’ll be eligible for adoption.
