Police in Phoenix, Arizona had to make an unusual rescue from one of their own vehicles.
Phoenix Police Lieutenant Tom Van Dorn came across a pack of small dogs according to department’s Facebook page.
Three of the dogs scurried away, but one had a different escape plan. The dog managed to hide in the undercarriage of the police SUV.
The department said the pup was stuck in the undercarriage for 20 minutes and wouldn’t even come out when they tried to lure it with a hot dog.
Animal Control was called in and the dog was eventually rescued and is doing OK.
