UNDATED (WHDH) — Nearly two dozen people in New Hampshire became sick after handling dog treats.
The state health department said the 21 people who got sick with salmonella may have handled Joey's Chicken Jerky.
The treats have been recalled.
Health officials said it's important for pet owners to wash their hands after handling pet food.
