A rare sight led to a frantic rescue in Dartmouth as two beachgoers rescued a stuck dolphin.
On Sunday, a man and his girlfriend were walking on Round Hill Beach as they saw the Atlantic White-Sided dolphin swimming to shore trying to beach itself. The dolphin was seen with scratch marks but no bite marks or serious injuries.
The man tried pushing the dolphin out to sea and after a couple of tries the dolphin was able to swim away.
