Dorchester woman arrested for using stun gun in apparent road rage

QUINCY, MASS. (WHDH) - A Dorchester woman was arrested for allegedly using a stun gun on a man in an apparent road rage attack.

On Wednesday, May 25 around 8:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to Roche Brothers on Falls Boulevard for a report of a person assaulted by a stun gun.

When police arrived, an officer talked to the victim and his girlfriend. The victim said they were traveling on Quincy Ave when an SUV driven by a woman pulled behind them.

The woman, now identified as Shunae Allen, was “riding their bumper and honking her horn while frantically flashing her lights,” police said.

Allen followed the couple a a close distance as they pulled into the Roche Brothers parking lot.

Allen then allegedly approached the passenger side where the victim was sitting, opened the door, and struck the victim with a stun gun.

The victim allegedly told Allen he was calling the police. Allen then allegedly said she was a police officer and was licensed to carry the stun gun.

Allen is not a police officer.

Police said Allen then returned to her car and drove away.

Police were able to locate the SUV, driven by Allen.

Allen, 35 of Dorchester, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

The stun gun was not found.

Allen was  arraigned Thursday morning in Quincy District Court and was released on personal recognizance.
